Explanation of Display.
Digital mode
Display | State | Explanation |
Normal | 1) LED Check This is displayed immediately after powering on and after the reset button is pushed. If any portion of the LED display is missing please return for repair. |

Normal | 2) Standby This is standby mode and the unit is ready for you to begin cranking. |

Normal | 3) Measurement result Each measurement is displayed when measurement is complete. |

NG | 4) Measurement result (outside of range) Although measurement completed, the number of RPM's is outside the measuring range (200-300rpm) and the measurement values are not accurate. |

NG | 5) Measurement result (measurement was
impossible) When the compression pressure of cylinder (chambers) is less than 0.49MPa (5 kg/cm^2 or 71PSI) or when the number of RPM's is displayed as 999, measurement was not successfully completed in digital mode, please check in analogue mode. |

NG | 6) Error with the sensor Sensor cable is disconnected or the sensor is out of order. |
Analogue mode (Only
work on Comp-08)

Normal | 3) Measurement is complete "1"s are displayed then measurement has completed in analogue mode. Once cranking has started, compression pressure is measured every 0.005 seconds and the output is sent to the RS232C serial cable. Measurement is complete after 1024 measurements are taken - approximately 5 seconds. |
