Careful understanding of the following points should be noted
when using the Mcat Compression Tester.
Failure to do so cannot only cause failure of the Mcat
Compression Tester and the sensor but at worse there is
a risk of damaging an engine.
Moreover, no matter the reason, we take no responsibility for the
damage to any vehicle or engine.
Even if unnecessary work is carried out to overhaul an engine we
take no responsibility for the expense of such an operation and
the overhaul of an engine is the judgment of the user of the Mcat
Compression Tester.
* For power please use a car battery (DC12V)
* Please connect the black clip to "-" terminal, and
the red clip to "+" terminal.
* If unusual generation of heat, smoke, etc. should occur while
in use, please remove from the power supply promptly.
Moreover, since the internal circuit may be out of order in such
a case, please return for repair.
*Please do not disassemble the Mcat Compression Tester
this will void your guarantee.
* Please do not shock the unit or the sensor.
* Please do not leave the Mcat Compression Tester
and the sensor in a hot or humid location.
* When the engine is hot, be careful not to burn yourself when
installing the sensor.
* When the engine is hot, please do not keep the adapter
installed for prolonged periods of time
* Please remove the sensor from the adapter promptly after
measurement. It will cause the sensor to fail when exposed to
high temperatures for prolonged periods.
* Be careful not to allow the cable of the sensor to become
tangled with rotational parts (fan belts, etc.)
* The Compression Tester and the sensor are not waterproof. -
please do not splash, soak or dip in liquids.
* Please do not place in direct sunlight or areas of high
humidity it will cause premature failure or poor operation.
* Please do not leave in the car for the above reason and
discolouration of the unit.
* Please do not use a Mcat compression tester
for other than compression measurement of a gasoline engine.
* Please do not perform measurement of the engine considered to
exceed 1.5Mp and a diesel engine. It becomes the cause of failure
of a sensor.
* For a standard plug adapter, the form of a spark plug is 12 and
14mm P1.25. Please ask us about measurement of engine other than
this about a correspondence adapter.
* It may be unable to equip with a standard plug adapter, in case
of no enough to pull off direction of a plug at onboard engine.
Please ask about boxer engine (horizontal opposed) etc. when
measured at onboard such an engine.
The measurement results are influenced by air temperature,
engine temperature, oil type, the state of a battery, etc.
